Hi Guppy families,

This Saturday is our first home meet and we are happy to host the Riverwalk Guppies. If your swimmer will NOT be at the meet, please let me or Coach Kendall know ASAP. Please see important info below:

• Swimmers will need to arrive between 8:30- 8:45 for 9am start. The meet should last about an hour.
• We will need a few parent volunteers (ahem Dads) to come earlier to assist in setting up the pool deck. We will be moving the long lounge chairs from the right side of the pool all the way down, towards the diving board and stacking them. We will leave 1 chair in front of each lane for the swimmers. Dads, stick around because we will need to move the furniture back at the end of the meet. Two or three sets of strong arms will make this happen real quick!
• Following the end of the swim events, we will have ribbons and drink/snack for all our guppies to celebrate their success! If you have signed up for drink/ snack for this week or for future guppy meets, we have about 40 guppies.

• This year, we hope to have a small fundraiser at each one of our Guppy meets. This works great for us as all of our meets are at HTCC. The money raised will go towards the Guppies end of season banquet and we would like to do something amazing for them! Please consider donating Sam's or Costco gift cards if you are able. With these gift cards, I will purchase muffins, granola bars, fruit, juice, etc. that we can sell at the meets.
