Holly Tree Country Club Hurricanes (HTCC Hurricanes) is one of 34 teams in the Greenville County SAIL Swim League. Our team accepts swimmers ages 4-18 of all swimming abilities. We have two teams within the Hurricane team – the Guppies, which are usually our younger swimmers who are working on their stroke development; and the Big Team who are learning or competent in all 4 competitive strokes and can swim the length of the pool unassisted.
We are part of the Greenville SAIL BLUE Division for 2026.

2025 Season we won BOTH Green Division Trophies - the Metcalf Cup and the Founder's Cup! We are very proud of our record the past several years…we are reigning Founder's Cup champs for Blue Division in 2022 and 2023. In 2018 & 2019 we won the Founder's Cup Trophy for the Purple Division which was a huge accomplishment since we were the smallest team in number, but the best in quality! In 2017 we won both trophies in the White Division! The Metcalf Cup (most points earned by their team) and the Founder's Cup award (team points divided by number of swimmers). In 2016 we were a top performer in the White Division Divisional Meet. In 2015 the Hurricanes won the Blue Division’s Founder’s Cup trophy for Quality Points once again! Our swimmers consistently drew the least number of DQs in the division, as well as at the Classics & Championships meet. It was a repeat of 2014 when we won the White Division Quality Points trophy and broke several records at Classics. In 2013, we placed 2nd in the White Division and won the Founder’s Cup trophy, as well as having several record-breaking swims at Championships & Classics. In 2012, the HTCC Hurricanes earned the Founders Cup award for total points achieved in the Blue Division, and in 2011 our team earned the Metcalf Award for Quality Points in the Blue Division, meaning that our swimmers averaged higher finishes than all other teams at the Blue Division meet.
