Hey Hurricanes! My name is Jamie Spellar, and I am the Head Coach of HTCC! This will be my 13th summer coaching, and my second year as head coach. I have been coaching in some capacity at HTCC since I was 16, and swam here for eleven years. I also coach for my former high school, GTCHS. When not at the pool, I am a graphic designer and salesperson at Promotions Unlimited. HTCC is my summer home! I am very passionate about coaching because I believe every SAIL team is a family, one that builds lifelong friendships and memories. I want to help every swimmer have the same amazing experience that I have always had, every summer at our pool. I am always happy to help with any concerns or questions. Go Hurricanes!

Hey! My name is Owen Flaherty and I am the Head Co Guppy Coach with Coach Ally! I have been swimming for 12+ years. I will also be helping with the big team when needed! This is my second year coaching! I am a rising Junior at Mauldin High School and I've been swimming on the MHS varsity swim team for the past 3 seasons and 1 year on the state team! In my off season I am a second grade church leader and I also Intern a Harmony at Five forks! I’m very excited for my second year as a coach. Im looking forward to a great summer!
Hey everyone, my name is Ally Spradlin and I’m coaching the guppy team with Owen Flaherty this season! I’m excited to be your child’s coach! A little about me is I’m currently at Clemson University studying Early Childhood Education, and live with my four best friends! I’ve swam on Holly Tree since I was 6 years old, and swam competitively in high school as well. My favorite color is pink and my favorite animal is a Weiner dog! I’m so excited to meet everyone this season!!
Hi everyone! I’m Annabella, and I’m so excited to be the assistant guppy coach this season! I'm a rising senior at Mauldin High School, and after graduation I plan to attend college to earn my degree in Early childhood education, along with a minor in theatre. I’ve been swimming year-round for eight years, been on the Mauldin Varsity Swim Team since my seventh grade year, and have been with the Hurricanes for two years; so I have a lot of experience with all four strokes—freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly—as well as starts, turns, and finishes. I’m really excited to help you all learn proper technique, get more comfortable in the water, and keep improving each day. I’ll always be cheering you on, helping you fix little things, and making sure we’re still having fun at practice. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and have an awesome season together!
