Swim Team Banquet
Happy Saturday Hurricanes!
We are so proud of the team last night for competing in the Divisionals and all the parents that helped/volunteered. It was also a great time to see some of our parents participate in the relays -who knew we had such great swimmers all around!!
Tonight the banquet begins at 6:00. As I've said before, usually it is a more formal event that is held in the ballroom. This year we are over the 50% capacity rule for indoors so we are going to make do where we have held all our events.
We are going to be sitting in the area where the swimmers were last night. Paige and I have set up the tents for food and trophies/medals. Please bring your own chairs, a table if you want to eat on it, a tent if you have one and it is BYOB for your family (adult beverages too if you choose). Mr. Jeff Wood will be providing a BBQ dinner. Swimmers are being provided for, and adults are $5. If you have not had a chance to pay for your dinner you can bring cash tonight or venmo the swim team account.
After the banquet, we have the swimming pool open until around 9:30 pm. So bring your suits and we can hang out and be together one last time as a swim team!

Each
child has the opportunity to earn this award. To qualify, each swimmer
must correctly swim each of the 6 meet events (swimmers age 8 &
under need complete only 5 events):

sticker poster by the pool will help the kids to keep track of which
strokes they have completed towards their Iron Man and Iron Chick goals.
At the end of the year each child who accomplishes their goal will be
awarded a special prize at the July season ending party.
