Swim Parent Meeting Followup
Hello Hurricanes!
Thank you to those that were able to come out to the Parent Meeting last night. I know that there were tons of fun things going on last night and many were unable to make it.
Here is an overview of our meeting:
Please join REMIND app - @htccsw We will use this to notify for weather, upcoming events, reminders. Please have at least 1 family member connect in with REMIND.
Volunteering- PLEASE volunteer to help us during our meets. ALL training is online and can be found athttps://sail.swimtopia.com/
Swim Meets- they will all be Virtual and held at our pool. They are on Thursday evenings at 5:30 pm throughout June and one Tuesday evening at end of June. Your swimmer must arrive by 4:30 pm to warmup and get settled. You MUST register your swimmer in swimtopia by Saturday at midnight to declare if they are swimming and what 3 events they will swim. Directions attached on how to do that.
Spirit Buddies - see attachment. If you do NOT want your swimmer to participate, you must let me know this weekend. I will be assigning buddies and they will get their 'buddy' info on Monday at practice.

Each
child has the opportunity to earn this award. To qualify, each swimmer
must correctly swim each of the 6 meet events (swimmers age 8 &
under need complete only 5 events):

sticker poster by the pool will help the kids to keep track of which
strokes they have completed towards their Iron Man and Iron Chick goals.
At the end of the year each child who accomplishes their goal will be
awarded a special prize at the July season ending party.
