Swim Meet Info - Roper Mountain Estates
Hurricanes!
This Week we are headed to Roper Mountain Estates (RMEA) for our last regular season swim meet. Swim meet begins at 5:30 pm. Swimmers should be at the pool at 4:30 pm for warmups.

Time to be at RMEA pool:4:30 pm for swimmers- for stretching and then in the pool for warmups at 4:45 pm. Volunteers for 1st half check in at 5:15 pm. Meet begins at 5:30 pm.

We have a drop off circle for swimmers by our clubhouse.
Parking:Once parking lots are full, please follow these parking instructions:
- Park on the RIGHT side of the street unless otherwise marked. Please do NOT park on both sides of the street.
- DO NOT Park within 2 car lengths of the stop sign.
- DO NOT park across from a driveway blocking residents from exiting.
- DO NOT Park on Grass.
- Police will patrol the neighborhood and the tow fee is $219.
RESERVED PARKING SIGNS for visiting team are for TEAM OFFICIALS ONLY. They are not for us to use as general parking spots. Please do not park in these spots.
NO ALCOHOL is allowed at swim meets. It is a violation of SAIL Swim Rules.
Team Tent will be set up in their visiting team area. Follow the sidewalk on the left side of clubhouse to the visiting team area. There is a cement pad and grass area in the shade for our team.

**Tent-please bring if you have one to put up beside our team tent,tailgate chairs,snacks,water bottles,goggles(an extra pair if they break),towel,sweatshirt,CASH,Spirit Buddy giftif your child is participating.Bug spray &Sharpies to write events on arms.

Each
child has the opportunity to earn this award. To qualify, each swimmer
must correctly swim each of the 6 meet events (swimmers age 8 &
under need complete only 5 events):
A
sticker poster by the pool will help the kids to keep track of which
strokes they have completed towards their Iron Man and Iron Chick goals.
At the end of the year each child who accomplishes their goal will be
awarded a special prize at the July season ending party.
